Love Pins is a game about connecting two people separated by bears, platforms, pins and more. Essentially it’s a series of short puzzles that you need to fathom out. Some of them can be pretty tough, though, and you might find yourself needing some help.
Which is where this guide comes in. We’ve played plenty of the levels in the game and come up with a series of strategies that are going to help you out when things get tricky. Follow these and you’re going to find the game much easier.
Whether you’ve already pulled a pin or you’re about to yank out your first, you’re going to find something here that’ll help you out. Let’s get on with it, then, shall we? Here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Love Pins.
Yellow pads bounce
When you see a yellow pad, your character will bounce in the air when they step on it. Look at the angle of the pad and see where it’s likely to send them. Sometimes there’ll be multiple pads, other times just one. Think about how you can use them to get to where you need to go.
Take your time
There’s no need to rush into a challenge. Look at every aspect of the level and figure out the best plan of action before you do anything. There are no time limits, and most of the aspects of a level will react in ways you’ve already learned. Make a plan, then put it into motion – there’s no need to wing it.
Think about your cuts
When you’re cutting through ropes, think about what’s going to happen when you do. Sometimes you’re just going to drop straight down, but others you’re going to swing in a specific direction depending on where you make the cut. Again, take the time to think about what’s going to happen before you do anything.
Be careful with your order
It’s important to think about the order you move things in. Sometimes it might look like there’s a clear path to the end, but that isn’t necessarily the case. You might need to move a platform to block an incoming attack, or drop a bomb to make sure you’re not going to get eaten by a tiger.
Learn from your mistakes
Obstacles always look the same and do the same thing. The enemy in the suit and tie will always shoot at you. If it’s killed you once, then it’s going to try and do it again. That means you can react better the second time round. Learn from the mistakes you’ve made and try not to repeat them.
